Richard Hallworth was named America Service Group Chief Operating Officer and President and Chief Executive Officer of Prison Health Services, Inc. in the spring of 2006. Prior to joining America Service Group and Prison Health Services, Inc., Mr. Hallworth, 50, was chief operating officer for Tufts Health Plan, a managed care company nationally recognized for excellence. Beginning in 1994, as chief financial officer, Mr. Hallworth's role continuously expanded at Tufts to include additional duties and responsibilities as senior vice president of administration in 1998 and chief operating officer from 2002 until2005. He began his career as a certified public accountant, first employed with Coopers & Lybrand and then as a partner with Ernst& Young, LLP. Mr. Hallworth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
