Becky Pinney

Becky Pinney has multi-facility responsibility for PHS sites and regions. In her current position, Ms. Pinney is responsible for the oversight and direction to prison facility based staff for the Rikers Island and Vermont DOC contracts. She has over 15 years of correctional healthcare experience ranging from Director of Nursing for the Virginia Department of Corrections at the Powhatan Correctional Center to her current corporate role with PHS. Since she joined PHS in 1995, Ms. Pinney has provided complete administrative and financial oversight for the Philadelphia Prison System Contract and served as State Director of Nursing for 42 sites in the company’s Georgia region. She has also served as Corporate Director of Clinical Operations and Vice President of Training and Staff Development. Ms. Pinney has a Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia and a Certificate in Health Care Risk Management from the University of Chicago Medical School. Ms. Pinney was recently selected as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Certified Correctional Health Professional Program for the NCCHC. This board has the responsibilty to establish the content of the CCHP and Advanced CCHP tests and is the final step in the awarding of the certification to those who participate in the exams.
